I believe the shell is maple.
Snare set up needs to be reset. The wires need to be adjusted so they lay curved over the snare beds.
The original finish was Duco but the last owner had it repainted/finished with era appropriate black lacquer.
Some minor paint splitting near the badge.
This drum was owned by Los Angeles studio percussion legend Michael Fisher.
