Alnico 5 magnets offers power, with a bright punchy upper end of the EQ spectrum. Balanced output between Neck & Bridge and carefully mis-matched & scatter-wound coils of AWG43 wire. The thinner wire gives a smoother push in the mids and slightly calms the top end for a bright, complex voice. Bright penetrating & driving tones.
With this focused & bright EQ response, and with enough power to tickle your amp into sweet distortion, these versatile pickups have lush clean tones all the way up to bright, clear distortion.
