Up for sale, a 2013 Edwards by ESP model E-CY-165CTM in near mint condition and in perfect working order. Edwards guitars are finished, finalized, and overseen by ESP in Japan, and this model has a bevy of distinctive features. Rarely seen outside of the Japanese market, this Edwards features a seven-piece maple/walnut through-body neck, a highly figured quilted maple top, ash body wings, Seymour Duncan pickups, and a gold-plated USA-made Floyd Rose vibrato. This shredder has been professionally setup.

The seven-ply hard maple/walnut neck has a slim C shaped profile with modest shoulder and a lightning-fast feel, measuring .805” deep at the 1st fret and tapering to .935” at the 12th. The neck is built for speed, with a small volute at the headstock and a smooth contoured neck heel for easy upper register access. The ebony fretboard is framed with stunning abalone and multi-ply binding and sports an intricate pearl and abalone vine pattern up the entire fingerboard, and perhaps most impactful is the full 27 fret range of the instrument. The stock medium jumbo frets are virtually flawless, and these frets have ample meat and height for lead work that requires a light touch, allowing for singing sustain and effortless bends in every register. The scale is a full 25 1/2“, and the locking nut measures 1 5/8“ wide. A set of gold Gotoh tuners are present on the headstock along with a quilted maple veneer that matches the body, framed by abalone binding and topped off with the Edwards logo.

All of the electronics function as intended with a three-way pickup selector and Master Volume and Tone knobs governing the bridge position Seymour Duncan Trembucker and Hot Rails neck pickup. There are slight tarnish on the gold hardwares and no corrosion on them so far and the gold Floyd Rose vibrato comes complete with the original arm, actuating easily for deep dive bombs and more subtle expressive work.

The quilted maple top is jaw-dropping and the guitar is a near mint example except some tiny some dings of the side body and the top headstock,please check the last photo. Come with original hard case.
