Up for sale is a used 1969 Martin D-28 in excellent condition, and plain and simple - this guitar sounds fantastic! The solid spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides have aged beautifully, producing a clear, full-bodied tone that fills a room. This guitar is not only a piece of history from Martin's heyday - one of the last D-28's made with Brazilian rosewood - but a serious player with the warmth and low end Martin is beloved for. Non-scalloped bracing keeps the sound balanced. Structurally solid, no breaks or cracks!

The neck is straight and plays fast with medium-low action and a slight soft-"v" profile. 1 5/8" nut width. String height measures 3/32" on bass side, .25/32 on the treble side. Grover tuners, and ebony fingerboard.

No breaks or cracks. Shows minor signs of usage for its age, with minimal fret divots and very light checking in some areas of the finish, all pictured. An aftermarket strap button was installed on the heel of the neck, but has since been removed. Saddle is a little low, but still some room left on it. This is a "no issues" guitar with neck heel and bridge fully intact. Comes with non-original hardcase.
