Designed in tribute to electric guitar designer and pioneer Ted McCarty, the PRS SE McCarty 594 blends vintage character with modern playability and precision. Built around the classic wood combination of a Mahogany neck and body with a Maple top and Rosewood fingerboard as well as being designed around the vintage-inspired 24.“594” inch scale length for an electric guitar that instantly feels at home. Combined with PRS’s 58/15 S 50s-inspired humbuckers, the SE 594 offers warm and harmonic tones with plenty of clarity and definition. This limited edition exotic version pushes things to the next level with its stunning Laurel Burl top and Vintage Sunburst finish.

Key Features

• Pattern Vintage– The Pattern Vintage neck profile offers an asymmetrical carve that follows the same width as PRS’s regular profile but with added thickness for even more comfort.
• Two-Piece Bridge - Crafted from Zinc and Brass, the PRS two-piece Bridge offers a natural tone with a lively and responsive resonance and sustain.
• PRS Vintage Tuners – Designed with tone in mind, these lightweight tuners subtract less energy from the vibrating strings making the guitar ring out for longer!

58/15 "S"

The PRS 58/15 S vintage-inspired humbuckers offer an open and lively full-frequency sound with enhanced mids and focused articulation. They suit a wide range of playing styles and genres and provide a familiar do-it-all tone that captures the essence of some of the most regarded medium-output vintage humbuckers ever designed. They excel with and without gain and respond well to dynamic and melodic playing styles.
