Formerly owned by renowned guitarist Keith Nelson this 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard simply known as "Louis" was enshrined by the Gibson Custom shop during their Collectors Choice Series #17.
The sonic capabilities of this particular instrument can be heard on many records, to say that this is a "good one" is an understatement. Firmly in the 1959 sweet spot this Burst features a powerful and articulate set of double white PAF's. Louis is perfectly balanced at 9 lbs and offers a wonderful full neck profile (.88 -.96).
This Burst has seen stages all over the world and displays the type of enthralling patina that make us weak in the knees and guitar makers attempt to emulate today.
