What's the Difference?

For Amps: 

Most popular digital amps lack an FX loop interface, forcing traditional loopers to connect via the guitar input. This means if you record a clean loop and then switch to distortion for soloing, the clean loop also becomes distorted.

Unlike traditional loopers, ULooper connects to amps via USB, ensuring your looped sound remains unchanged even when changing your amp's tones and presets.

Additionally, it adds a Line Out feature to your amp, enabling easy connections to external speakers without muting the amp's own speaker, unlike the headphone output, which does.

For Modelers & Multi-FX:

ULooper brings a built-in looper experience to modelers and multi-FX units that don’t include one. It connects via USB, letting you loop without affecting your existing signal chain.

Compared to traditional loopers, ULooper avoids signal loss, preserves full dynamic range, adds no extra latency, and keeps your stereo sound intact. It also works seamlessly with your modeler’s headphone output for easy practice and jamming.

Many compact modelers only offer a single output. ULooper adds an extra Line Out, giving you more flexibility to connect speakers, PA systems, or separate monitoring setups.
