Up for consideration is a vintage 1997 Celestion K5C-30 speaker from a Trace Acoustic TA-100R guitar amp. This will also be a direct replacement speaker for similar 5" Trace Acoustic models -- like the TA-35, TA-50R, TA300 and others -- from back when they were still made in the UK. The speaker came from my personal amp, which was my back-up TA-100R, as these were the first great-sounding acoustic guitar amps on the market, and these Celestion K5C-30 speakers were a big part of the amp's success. These amps sounded great when they were first introduced, and still sound great today. The speaker itself works fine, with no issues. The K5C-30 have long been discontinued by Celestion, and finding an original one is getting more and more difficult to do, so here is a great opportunity to get the vintage original 1997 Celestion K5C-30 8 Ohm speaker, which will make a great drop-in replacement for any Trace Acoustic 5" amp from that era -- or will serve equally as well in a newly custom-built acoustic guitar amp.
