Up for consideration is a vintage 1997 Celestion K5C-30 speaker from a Trace Acoustic TA-100R guitar amp. This probably will be a direct replacement for other Trace Acoustic models from the early stages of the brand, when they were made in UK. The speaker came from my personal amp, which was my back-up TA-100R, as these were one of the first good-sounding acoustic guitar amps, and the Celestion K5C-30 speaker is a big reason for this. The amps sounded great when they first came out, and they still sound great today. The speaker itself works fine, with no issues. These K5C-30 speakers are discontinued by now, and finding an original one is getting hard to do, so here is a rare opportunity to get the vintage 1997 original Celestion K5C-30 8 Ohm speaker, which would make a great drop-in replacement for a Trace Acoustic amp from that era, or will serve equally as well in a custom built acoustic guitar amp.
