VINTAGE 1940's Lefima 8x14 Snare Drum in White Marine Pearl
- Vintage Snare Drum.
- Size: 8x14.
- Details & Notes: A beauty, and a bit or of a rare bird too! German in origin with all the hallmark traits of a copy cat American drum, done in the best way possible. Lefima is one of the lesser known vintage manufacturers, and are still around today though as a marching percussion company. At one point however, this quirky German company made excellent snare drums and kits too. This drum features Leedy style copy lugs, a very similar to Ludwig "super sensitive" style throw-off/strainer, and classic German slotted keys. Shell appears to be beech. Very yellowed from age, to a finish that would be advertised with a premium today.
- *Used and vintage snares are on display in our showroom. Snares may show fingerprints or stick marks from being tested and demoed, or disclosed signs of wear from previous owners*
