D'Addario ECG25 XL Chromes Electric Strings - Light .012-.052

D'Addario's XL Chromes are renowned as the warmest and most mellow electric guitar strings they offer. Embraced by jazz guitarists and revered by blues legends like Gary Clark Jr., these strings feature a flat wound design that ensures a silky-smooth feel and a rich, warm tone. With Chromes, you can effortlessly glide across the fretboard without any unwanted finger noise.

Crafted with a high carbon steel core, these strings incorporate stainless steel flattened ribbon wire that is skillfully wound onto a series of interlocking under-windings. The result is an impeccably polished surface, offering unparalleled smoothness and a beautifully blended sound that seamlessly integrates into any mix.

D'Addario ECG25 XL Strings set themselves apart with their distinctive construction. They are wound using flattened stainless steel ribbon wire, meticulously polished to achieve an extraordinarily smooth surface. As a result, Chromes produce a unique sound that is both dampened and tone-rich, a characteristic that can only be achieved with flatwound strings.
