For sale: 2019 Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster Left Handed.

This guitar has an MJT alder body in 2 color tobacco sunburst replaced by its previous owner and confirmed through email by MJT. (MJT only uses nitro lacquer, so no poly undercoat like the original Fender model.) The neck, hardware, and 59 pure vintage pickups are all from the American Original.

The guitar, neck, fretboard, and hardware have been reliced by MJT, see all pics. It was intended to look like Eric Clapton's Brownie Stratocaster. I added Fender aged white pickup covers and knobs to add to the relic look, but the original covers will also be included. The guitar is medium weight, weighing at. 7.8 Lbs.

The Pure Vintage 59 pickups sound fantastic, they have a woody midrange sound I really like. The soft v neck shape, much like the Eric Johnson strat or a 10/56 custom shop neck, is a full but comfortable soft v. The deluxe tuners are very stable, and the lacquer checking and wear on the guitar looks even better in person.

The guitar includes a gig bag, it does not include a tremolo arm, as the trem is currently decked on this one like Clapton's guitars. It is missing a screw on the pickguard and the 1 ply pickguard is cracked and chipped in two spots (see pics) but it adds to the relic vibe of the guitar.
