This is not a guitar pedal. It is a tube preamp. More to the point, it is the preamp section of the legendary Soldano SLO-100. Quick backstory: I taught guitar for 20 + years in a small retail guitar store in South Carolina. That store was the only Soldano dealer in the state. The day the newly released Supercharger arrived, I mocked the store owner for buying such an incredibly expensive "guitar pedal". A few hours later I was running to the ATM machine to grab cash for said pedal. At the time I was also the sound engineer at a large live music venue. The Supercharger saved the day for several bands when their amps broke down at the gig. The list of iconic guitar players that have relied on Soldano's overdrive tone is staggering. Everyone from Eddie Van Halen to Prince. I buy these preamps everytime I see one; and still have the one I bought 25+ years ago. I have just changed the tubes and lubricated the pots. This unit is working flawlessly. The Soldano G.T.O. preamp is a game changer. Thanks for looking.
