The Suhr Standard Rosewood Neck - Green Gradient is a force of nature—an instrument that ignites inspiration the moment it’s in your hands. John Suhr, a visionary whose name is synonymous with innovation and artistry in the guitar world, has spent decades refining what it means to build a truly exceptional instrument. His dedication to precision, tone, and playability is evident in every curve and contour of this masterpiece. From the moment your fingers graze its strings, the Suhr Standard doesn’t just sing—it roars, whispers, and soars with an untamed fire, responding with an immediacy that feels almost telepathic.

At its heart, this guitar is a fusion of raw power and exquisite refinement. The two-piece mahogany body fuels its resonance with warmth and depth, while the quilted maple top, finished in a mesmerizing green gradient, flickers like sunlight through deep forest canopies. Every edge is sculpted with precision, featuring arm, hand, and tummy contours that make the guitar feel like an extension of the player’s body. The Indian rosewood neck, kissed with a hand-rubbed oil finish, is nothing short of intoxicating—its rich, organic feel seducing every bend and vibrato into effortless expression. Paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, it offers a perfect blend of smoothness and bite, guided by a 60’s C Vintage Standard profile that transitions from .810" to .930" with a natural, inviting feel. The 9" - 12" compound radius and stainless steel medium frets make this guitar a playground for both lightning-fast runs and soulful, expressive phrasing.

Adorned with gold hardware, every detail gleams with elegance and purpose. The TonePros TP6 bridge anchors the guitar with rock-solid stability, while Suhr’s gold locking tuners ensure unwavering tuning precision no matter how wild the bends or aggressive the attack. The heartbeat of this beast lies in its pickups—an SSV in the neck for velvety smooth warmth and an SSH in the bridge that snarls with punch and fire, all controlled through a 1 volume, 1 tone, 5-way blade switch for endless tonal versatility. The finishing touches—brass side dots, ring face dots, and a gold outline Suhr decal—are subtle yet striking, elevating this instrument to the level of a fine work of art.

Weighing in at a featherlight 7 lbs 3 oz, the Suhr Standard is effortless to wield yet loaded with dynamic power, waiting to channel the fire of the player who dares to wield it. Enclosed in its hard case, this guitar is more than an instrument—it’s a statement, a muse, a weapon of expression crafted by a master of the modern electric guitar. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the hands of an artist chasing the perfect note, the Suhr Standard Rosewood Neck - Green Gradient is a guitar that doesn’t just play—it demands to be played.
