- CueMix DSP near-zero monitoring system with multiple CueMix DSP mixes for creating different monitor mixes for main outs and headphones, including the option to add send/return loops for outboard gear with no latency.

- Front-panel metering with five-segment meters for all analog inputs and status lights for clock and interface/expander mode.

- Sample-accurate MIDI connectivity allowing you to connect a MIDI controller and/or sound module without the need for a separate interface, ensuring sample-accurate synchronization with supporting software.

- Expandable setup, supporting the addition of extra 8pre, UltraLite, 828, 828mkII, 896, 896HD, or Traveler FireWire interfaces for increased I/O. Alternatively, connect the 8pre optically to any audio interface or mixer supporting ADAT optical I/O.

- Separate TRS main outs and front-panel headphone jack, each equipped with independent volume control.

- SMPTE time code sync via any analog input, and SMPTE time code generation to any analog output.
