2005 Fender FSR Deluxe Vintage Player ’62 Stratocaster — Olympic White / Gold Hardware / USARare 2005 Fender FSR Deluxe Vintage Player ’62 Stratocaster, made in the USA and based on Fender’s American Vintage ’62 platform. This is a particularly cool example with an aged Olympic White/cream thin-skin finish, gold hardware, rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style synchronized tremolo and the original Fender brown/gold hard-shell case. The FSR Deluxe Vintage Player ’62 was a limited 2005 model featuring a ’62-style platform with thin-skin nitrocellulose finish, gold hardware and Fender’s S-1 switching system. The original model was discontinued in 2005.Current configuration:The guitar has been modified from its original factory electronics. It currently has three Seymour Duncan Strat-style single-coil pickups and custom/reworked wiring. The push/push switching function is operational and provides additional pickup combinations. The two tone controls are currently non-functional and will need to be serviced. The volume control and pickup selector are functional.I am intentionally disclosing the modifications rather than representing this guitar as 100% factory original.Included:• Fender brown/gold hard-shell case• Tremolo arm• Gold bridge/ashtray cover• Additional pickguards• Additional tremolo/back cavity plates• Tremolo springs and hardware• Fender tremolo/setup documentation• Additional miscellaneous hardwareCondition:Vintage/player condition with normal cosmetic wear, finish marks and aging. The Olympic White finish has naturally aged to a beautiful cream/ivory appearance. Gold hardware shows some expected aging/wear. The case has significant cosmetic wear from age and use.No obvious structural damage was found during inspection. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. This is a rare USA-made Fender FSR with a very distinctive combination of Olympic White, gold hardware and ’62 styling. A great opportunity for someone looking for an uncommon Fender FSR or a unique player’s Stratocaster.Serial: V157925Fender model: FSR 2005-6 Deluxe Vintage Player ’62 StratocasterModel number: 017-0047-805Year: 2005Made in USA
