We are selling this rare and unique piece Digigram Midimic: it’s a cool and vintage microphone made in France in 1988 that outputs MIDI!
This is a super-rare piece of vintage gear: a MIDI microphone! For voice or wind instruments, with aux line input (RCA) for use as a MIDI converter for line level sources, or as THRU to record audio input to a separate channel.
Extremely handy in the studio: you can record your voice or instrument to a DAW as a MIDI file for unlimited editing possibilities, or couple it with hard or soft synths. It allows you to convert your voice or your solo instrument (sax, clarinet, violin, solo guitar, etc.) into MIDI notes to be sent to synthesizers, expanders, etc.
The unit is fully working and it excellent cosmetical conditions for its age. Includes 1 brand new 9-volt battery which powers the mic (battery is already mounted inside the mic). We have also a PDF copy of the Owner’s Manual (English). Real vintage gem: grab a bargain!
You can sing into it and outputting midi function (to a synth or sound module of your choice!). If you've ever wished you could sing a violin or hum a tune straight into your MIDI sequencer, this French "MIDI microphone" could be for you!
