Here we have a 1989 Mesa Boogie Mark III Simul-Class amplifier head! This one is a rare variant with cream tolex and a flame maple faceplate.

This is a blue stripe head dated 10/89 on the chassis. It shows light wear and a few small spots of discoloration. There is a bit of dirt down in the tolex grooves and dust in the corners internally. The knobs and face show light signs of use. The wicker insert appears to have been painted black at the factory but shows some discoloration. Ultimately though this one looks to be in very good condition for its age.

The amp works great and sounds fantastic. It has a subtle hum about it when turned on, but all channels do what they were designed for. It has nice sparkling clean tones on through to heavy overdriven tones. It has an internal fan, on board reverb, a graphic EQ and an effects loop. Overall one of our favorite amps to come through the shop.
