For those not familiar with the Company, Thomastik-Infeld has been producing some of the finest strings for bowed and fretted instruments in Austria since 1919. Round wound Magnecore alloy on a flexible hexcore for a bright aggressive tone, extra long sustain and reduced playing effort. Designed to enhance harmonics and percussive effects like tapping. High output with heavier gauges towards the basses, for players who like a "fatter" tone stronger in the lower mids and bottom end. Power-Brights love distortion.
