Up for sale is this vintage 1992 Fender American Vintage '57 Reissue Stratocaster electric guitar. This is a well-gigged example with a lot of cosmetic wear and it's clear why... Because it's a great playing and sounding guitar!

This one is all original with the exception of the strap buttons. The original three-way switch is still installed although there is a five-way included that someone never got around to installing. The original paperwork, tremolo arm, and bridge cover are all in the pocket of the case.

Cosmetically, the instrument shows heavy wear including arm wear where the finish has worn through along with numerous dings, scuffs, and scratches. The worst of the dings is on the front of the body (pictured) and the worst of the scratches is a long, deep scratch running along the belly-cut of the body (pictured). The original cavity cover is cracked at the screw holes which adds to the vibe, to be honest. The original pickguard shows discoloration.

Our tech just went over this one, polishing the frets, adjusting the set up, installing a fresh set of strings, and spraying out the electronics. Everything works as it should and the instrument plays great with comfortable, low action all the way up the neck. The original frets show wear and some divoting but still retain a decent amount of life.

The original tweed Fender hardshell case is included and shows heavy wear to the exterior. All of the latches and hinges are present and work as they should, although the flip latch near the body can be a little finicky.

This one isn't mint, it's not even close, but it's a great playing and great sounding example of the model and we know that it won't take long to find the right home. Don't miss out...
