The Suhr Classic S Antique Roasted – Sherwood Green Metallic is where vintage style meets modern innovation, delivering an instrument that feels like an old friend but roars like a beast. Drenched in a rich, deep Sherwood Green Metallic lacquer finish with just the right amount of light aging, this guitar looks like it’s been on countless stages while retaining the playability and precision that only Suhr can provide. The 2-piece alder body, sculpted with arm, hand, and tummy contours, offers incredible resonance and comfort, making this guitar as effortless to play as it is stunning to look at.

The neck is pure perfection—crafted from roasted maple and shaped into a ‘50s Round profile (.860”-.980”), it has a satisfyingly substantial feel without ever being cumbersome. The Indian rosewood fretboard, with its 10”-16” compound radius and 22 stainless steel jumbo frets, makes every note ring with clarity, sustain, and effortless playability. Classic clay face and side dots, a Reverse Hybrid headstock, and a gold decal logo add a touch of understated elegance, while the Tusq nut and Suhr locking tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability and precision.

Under the hood, this Classic Antique Roasted is a tonal powerhouse. Loaded with a Thornbucker neck humbucker, a vintage-inspired V63 single-coil in the middle, and a Thornbucker Plus bridge humbucker, it delivers everything from warm, singing leads to sparkling cleans and everything in between. And thanks to its ingenious electronics, versatility is taken to a whole new level—push-push switching lets you add the neck pickup in any position or split both humbuckers for classic single-coil tones. When you need to cut through the mix with unrelenting power, the mini push-button blower switch bypasses the tone circuit and delivers pure, unfiltered bridge humbucker tone straight to the amp.

The Wilkinson WVS 130 two-post bridge, with locking saddles and a steel block, offers exceptional tuning stability, sustain, and smooth tremolo action, making it perfect for everything from subtle vibrato to expressive bends. Weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz, this guitar is perfectly balanced, comfortable, and built to inspire. Housed in a deluxe hard case, the Suhr Classic Antique Roasted – Sherwood Green Metallic is a guitar that doesn’t just meet expectations—it shatters them. Whether you're chasing vintage warmth, modern clarity, or searing lead tones, this guitar is ready for anything.
