Godin's new Session HT is designed around a hardtail bridge, for increased tone and sustain. The frame for this guitar is a familiar double -cutaway body shape, to allow easy access across the laurel fingerboard.
Two single coil pickups are paired with a humbucker in the bridge position, to give a full palette of tone choices. The humbucker can also be split for extra single coil voicings.
The maple neck is comfortable, with a flat-C profile. A satin finish gives it a worn, vintage feel, without the "drag" that can be associated with some gloss finishes.
We've listed this guitar as B-stock because it has a minor finish flaw near the input jack (shown). It does not diminish the tone or overall appearance of this instrument. Some other stores may have listed it as new. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition and has full warranty. Another fine Canadian product from the largest builder of guitars in North America.
