Studer C37 Stereo Heads * Relapped by JRF Magnetics

These heads were installed in a Studer C37 I bought from auction about 12 years ago. The machine has been on and off tech's benches since then for a complete restoration back to original spec. I've been buying a bunch of spare parts during this time, a real life unused NOS playback and record head showed up at one point. I got these installed and tested by John French at RTF Magnetics, I also sent the heads I got with the machine to John to test and relap. This is them. They measure perfectly and have full life, they haven't been used since being relapped.
One head is standard configuration (RECORD) and the other is Butterfly (REPRO). Apparently this configuration was occasionally used at the BBC, which is where the machine was living for part of it's life.
Comes in a Pelican Hardcase.
