In the tradition of Ludwig’s “Victorious” drums of the 1940s, this Legacy Mahogany features a new black stain finish with silver sparkle inlaid maple hoops finished in black. Its 3-ply, mahogany-flanked-poplar core contributes to a focused attack and full-bodied resonance to this snare that suits endless styles of backbeat music.
The shell is crowned with a 30-degree round over edges and solid 1/4-inch maple re-rings to impart just the right touch of dryness and strength. Collector’s additions to the Legacy Mahogany Black Cat snare include classic Flat Imperial Lugs and Chrome Claw hooks. Fitted with Classic Baseball Bat Style Internal Dampener and P88 Throw Off & P35 Butt Plate. Finished with a commemorative Special Edition Enamel Silver Oval Keystone badge.
