You are looking at a beautiful and 100% original Dakota Red 1966 Fender Duo-Sonic II with original "sharkskin" silver case. To say this is a great one would be an understatement, and I am only selling it due to some unforseen expenses. It's light as a feather, has a great original vintage patina, and is set up perfectly with .010 gauge strings. The neck is a joy to play, with a lightly worn original nitro finish. The frets are original and in excellent condition, as is all the hardware on this guitar. The original owner scribed his name on the neckplate. The hang tag shown is also an original, and in perfect condition! A great conversation piece and a great addition to any collection.
What makes this one special is the longer 24" scale neck and "B" width, making it very playable and comfortable... even with larger hands. The tones this guitar produces is pure vintage Fender, and it resonates in your hands like only 40+ year old wood can.
The case is also original, and is excellent shape with no broken latches, and a nice bright red/orange interior...complete with "Fender" neck strap. Truly a gorgeous vintage guitar that is 100% pure, no modifications, no touch ups... and looks/plays every bit as good as it looks! This guitar will undoubtely continue to escalate in value the longer you keep it...and will be a joy to own in the meantime! Take a look at the many detailed photos, and decide for yourself!
