Up for grabs is a set of THREE (3 individual knobs) used kind of relic'ed genuine Gibson GOLD SPEED KNOBS (ONLY 3 of the 4 knobs from PRSK-020 set are for sale). From 1990s.

Sorry I don't have the matching 4th Gold Speed knob.

These knobs came off of a used 1993 Gibson Les Paul Studio (gloss finish). Guitar NOT included / NO other parts included.

Since these are older Gibson Speed Knobs --- the under-side of the knobs look different compared to Gibson knobs made in recent years and Gibson knobs that are currently makes.

One the UNDER-SIDE of the knobs for sale in this listing:

• 1) You can see & feel the imprint of the numbers & dashes. as seen in pictures # 2, #3, and pictures # 19 to # 24.
• 2) For the center area -- the circular plastic piece that goes around the hole with the ridges is thicker / wider, higher, and has a flat thick top.

Whereas: the UNDER-SIDE of Gibson knobs made in recent years and that are currently made (NOT for sale in this listing):

• 1) Are smooth (NO visible imprint) as seen in pictures # 3 and # 4
• 2) For the center area -- the circular plastic piece that goes around the hole with the ridges is tapered, is narrow, is shorter / lower, and has a thin top.

NOTE: The part / model number PRSK-020 and UPC# 711106550688 are provided as a reference for the style color knobs they are.

These genuine Gibson Control Knobs [SPEED Knob Style] are Gold with White Numbers & Dashes.

These knobs fit on a split shaft stem that has fine vertical grooves / ridges / splines. The last picture shows this kind of stem (the pot is shown for example only - it is NOT included). As you can see -- I mean a stem / shaft that is NOT smooth and that does NOT get held on the the stem with a screw). It can fit a long stem or short stem shaft. The last pictures shows a shows a pot with a short stem shaft (again - the pot is shown for example only - it is NOT included).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Since these are pre-owned (used) knobs - they might be a little loose on the shaft of your controls. If this is the case - instead of you gently separating the two metal pieces of the split shaft:

• I would highly recommend that you put a piece of tape or a piece of thin paprt around the shaft of your controls -- so that the knobs will have something else (aside from the metal pieces of the shaft) to grip on to.
• I say this because if you separate the two metal pieces of the split shaft -- there is a great chance that one of the metal pieces (ot even both) will break off. I know this for personal experience.
• Therefore it's better to play it safe and to add the piece of tape or piec eof paper around the shaft.

CONDITION of the knobs for sale in the listing that you are looking at now -

Here are the imperfections that these knobs have:

KNOB 1) : Pictures # 10, # 11, and # 12. Pictures # 19 and # 22.

• The inner area of one of the knobs has visible imperfections: about two short cracks / breaks and a few very small & small chips. Since these are INTERNAL IMPERFECTIONS - you cannot feel them. You only see them when looking at the top side of the knob.
• Under-side is mostly fine - a few minor nicks / minor scratches in - on the gold finish.
• Outer Bottom Edge - The areas between the # 0 and the # 10 has a little flattening. I'm not sure if this was caused by use & handling -- or if it is from how the knob was manufactured.

KNOB 2): Pictures # 13, # 14, and # 15. Picture # 20 and # 23

• The inner area of one of the knobs has visible imperfections: about two or three short cracks / breaks and a few very small & small chips. Since these are INTERNAL IMPERFECTIONS - you cannot feel them. .
• Under-side: There is a visible small chip in the plastic on / near where the # 6 is (you can see it and you can feel it). And it has a few minor nicks / minor scratches in - on the gold finish.
• Outer Bottom Edge - A very small area between the # 0 and the # 10 has a little flattening. I'm not sure if this was caused by use & handling -- or if it is from how the knob was manufactured.

KNOB 3) Pictures # 16, # 17, and # 18. Pictures # 21 and # 24.

• It is mostly fine. Internally it is a few extremely tiny nicks that you can see when looking at the top side of the knob.
• Under-side is mostly fine - a few minor nicks / minor scratches in - on the gold finish.
• Outer Bottom Edge - The areas between the # 0 and the # 10 has a little flattening. I'm not sure if this was caused by use & handling -- or if it is from how the knob was manufactured.

You can see the condition of these knobs in the pictures. Feel free to ask for more pictures of this item (especially close-up pics of the knobs).

NOTE:  There may be a a couple of imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures.  There may be a few minor imperfections that I overlooked.  And - there maybe some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (like glares and dust specks).

As mentioned above- I do not mind breaking the set if you need a certain amount of knobs.
