This is a 1967 Gibson SG Special in Polaris White.
Ok, the bad stuff first. It has had Grover tuners installed. It is missing a fretboard marker which is an easy fix, I just can't find another marker that I'm happy with the look of. The original lightning bolt bridge is long gone and has been replaced with a Music City Bridge which is as good as it gets. The studs are the Music City locking studs also, although the original studs are included.
The good.. All electronics are 100% original and function perfectly. There are no breaks, cracks or previous repairs. There are a couple "witness" lines around one side of the neck joint. I took it to my luthier, and we ran it through all the tests and determined there was no flex and no issues to be fixed.
The guitar has been freshly cleaned, frets polished and setup with D'addario 11's. The original frets have very little wear, and the guitar plays very well. Both pickups are balanced and very useable with the neck pickup being the star of the show for me.. The guitar comes with its original case which is in good shape.
She's not perfect, but she's a pretty good player.
