Engl Modern Rock Preamp E530 Tube Preamp 2010's - Black

NOTE: I have listed two of these. This one has orange lettering and is less pretty. The other has red lettering.

Great price on an excellent sounding and fully operational, albeit not pretty, ENGL E530.

This is a highly versatile preamp for prog, hard rock, and metal. It has a really good feel with the onboard 12AX7s.

This has it's share of rack rash. I never gigged with it, but my rack was a little tight. Also, you will notice a rather large blemish on the bottom. It was an identification sticker that did not come off as cleanly as I had hoped. Acetone took the finish right off - stupid!

If you can stomach the scars, the sound and functionality will please you, as it is operationally perfect.

This is perfect with a MIDI foot switcher. I used a Voodoo Lab setup with two of these along with rackmount effects and power amp, and it worked great.

The E530 is $700 new. This preamp sounds great and is PRICED TO SELL. You won't be disappointed.
