Here is a vintage 1960s Japanese Aiwa Microphone in great working condition. These are pretty rare and great for edge of break up garage rock vocals or harmonica. Super stylish as well with it's heavy duty build, chrome and powdercoat finish and stainless steel pistol grip. It has 8' of lead as well which has been cut and ready for a 3/4" jack or xlr. Stand is not included.

If you stumble across one of these I highly recommend you get one, if you like dynamics of course. Big tone. High Z and very allround. Sounds good through amps and PA ... played cupped it break things up just the way I like it ... and played open it has a warm, natural acoustic sound. Very nice.

This model was sold under a couple different Japanese manufactures at the time but this is the Aiwa model. It should be noted that this DM-47 is 100% complete inside and out. It has super strong

output and set at high impedance though it

sounds more mid range and has a bit of a rockabilly sound to it. This would make an excellent harp mic as well. If you need a mic that has dirtier vocals...this won't

disappoint.

The mic has a nice satin chrome finish with virtually no wear and the black painted accents are free of any paint chips, scratches, fractures or cracks. The top plastic piece is excellent as well. The grill looks great as does the inner liner. The lower pistol grip looks excellent and the

label is completely legible. On / Off switch works perfectly as does the tension screw.

Threads for the stand and cable are perfect.
