Kiesel Aries, 2024, Lightweight natural Ash build, Gorgeous, Ultimate soft case

I have a beautiful Kiesel Aries 2024 build here with its newly logoed ultimate soft case. This one features a lightweight one piece Ash body the total guitar weight is just 6 lb 12 oz.

This was a natural wood ultra thin resonant finish concept build that was made to match its Warmoth Telecaster sibling. Which is also up for sale and pictured in the last picture for reference.

Conditionally this guitar looks gorgeous throughout and is easy to describe so I will keep it brief.

There is a faint outline of where a sticker used to be on the plastic backplate, not on the wood. Around the selector switch i see very faint/superficial tooling impressions, i believe this was Not playwear and just part of the construction process. Beyond that I found no singular marks or dings. Nor is there any build up any pattern playwear. Any superficial signs of use will be absolutely minimal which is to say there could be faint traces of use just nothing that builds up or creates a sheen or is individually describable. This is a very recent build and it's just looks immaculate throughout.

The neck looks as clean as the body. There is no fret where no fret Sprout no Gunk build up on the Contour no dings on the headstock. The setup plays absolutely like butter. This is a perfect American Custom Shop build and this is what a guitar should play like. The electronics are stock and working perfectly.

So this one rates a 9.7/10 and grades as excellent. This is the higher side of what I see conditionally in a used guitar. I reserved this rating generally for guitars just like this that are of recent make that have that near mint beautiful, like new look to them. This is one such.

I don't have a physical copy of the build sheet but I do have a picture of one that I will include here in the listing. This is a straightforward build. And I will summarize the highlights.

The entire guitar is done in Factory tung oil. Both body and neck. It's an ash body. Maple neck ebony fretboard stainless Steel frats. White pearl dot inlays Whiteside dots. A really cool silver metallic Kiesel guitars logo on the headstock. A natural Ash overlay on the headstock. A beryllium direct mount Bridge pickup. And a Kiesel single coil in the neck. Which gives it a sort of Telecaster Deluxe vibe. It has a single volume knob it is not coil tapped just humbucker in the bridge and single coil in the neck here and a middle position of course activated via the toggle switch.

Tonally expect a bright articulate instrument with excellent resonance and bloom. It has a soundtrack that is affectionately known as pop by people that love ash wood. It's a percussive Snappy quality to the tone with a nice fast immediate attack. I find that when I play a guitar like this I can turn the bass up a little bit because the base is very articulate. And I can turn the treble down just a little bit which Smooths it just a little bit and it has a very balanced tone with great clarity. It's hard to imagine anyone wouldn't like this tone.

If you have seen some of my listings here over the years, you know i am very high on the Kiesel brand. As a guitar player myself this brand has been my personal favorite, and i feel they offer perhaps the best pure value in performance and quality at this price point. Every aspect of their guitar building is innovative and top notch. From the use of dual carbon rods to stabilize the necks. flawless SS fretwork, specially processed/treated wood that maximizes the harmonic content, gorgeous and durable finishes They in my opinion fully deserve the acclaim and following that they have garnered in the last few years.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
