Altec used some of the best custom inductors available for a sweet color tone, made with molybdenum permalloy powder toroidal cores as found in Pultecs and Langevin 251-A’s. This heavy duty EQ is one of the coolest I've seen or owned and gives the warm sound that only a passive equalizer (like a Pultec or Langevin) can give I’ve been told.
Single channel 24 band inductor based passive EQ made up of 24 discrete 9013 ’T’ filter EQ modules. Each module is a 1 dB per step 600 ohm bridged ’T’ attenuator with a tuned inductor capacitor network
Finally got around to putting some 1/4 in cables onto this and put it in my rack and I’m in love, this thing sounds great and I’m not sure I really want to part with it
