This is a great boutique upright bass hand made in Italy. After shipping it usually comes out to over $4k to order one new.

Other than some very small blemishes (included in pictures) this bass is very lightly used. Comes with case and stand that end pin sits in. My dad had installed a cloth strap connection on it. I’m still looking for it but if I find it it’s included.

Will send video by request. Excuse my sloppy playing in the video, but still I was surprisingly impressed by the sound even through a lower end amp (Ampeg BA-110).

THE DOUBLE BASS Jazz passive

The electric double bass MK mod.JAZZ-P passive(P) is our best solid body production, we use selected high quality woods with unique sound properties, neck in maple, body in poplar or linden or cedar and soundboard in fir, length 145cm, weight 6kg.

This model has a resonant soundboard in suspension and traction for a more structured and complete sound, on the soundboard rests a real acoustic double bass bridge.

Action adjustment takes place by acting on a single screw placed on the back of the instrument, it modifies neck's angle inclination, adjusting strings' height as desired.

Passive JAZZ doesn't mount electronic active on board so no batteries that run out, tuning is done in the traditional way, brass mechanics ideal for double bass frequencies, are in the upper part of the instrument.

Frames faithfully reproduce the acoustic shape and allow to play instrument on the tip (retractable inside the body), right frame allows an excellent support on torso, feeling is very similar to the acoustic with excellent results of playability, left frame is essential to support the forearm when playing the high notes, easily dismountable by acting on a single handwheel.
