Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature 6-String Humbucker Pickup Set - Black | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

The Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature pickup set is an active HH humbucker set engineered to match the wide-ranging tonal demands of Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson's playing style. Three distinct voices per pickup deliver everything from near-acoustic clarity and single-coil snap to rich, searing humbucker output — all in a solderless, straightforward installation package. It's a compelling upgrade option for intermediate to professional guitarists at No Limit Guitar Co in Idaho Falls looking to dramatically expand their tonal palette without swapping guitars.

Product Overview

Fishman's Fluence series reimagines what active pickups can do by moving beyond the limitations of traditional wound coil designs. The Tim Henson Signature set builds on that foundation with three switchable voices that cover an unusually broad tonal range in a single HH configuration. Voice one delivers a near-acoustic, clean character with exceptional note clarity and definition — useful for the kind of intricate, articulate playing Henson is known for. Voice two captures a clear, responsive single-coil-style tone with the noise rejection benefits of an active humbucker design. Voice three delivers a full, rich humbucker voice with searing output and the kind of thick, harmonically complex tone that handles high-gain playing with authority.

The Fluence pickups use Alnico V magnets and run on active circuitry with a 2K DC resistance, giving them a dynamic, touch-responsive feel that avoids the compressed, sterile quality sometimes associated with active pickup systems. The five-wire plus ground and battery wiring configuration supports the full three-voice switching system, and the solderless connectivity makes installation cleaner and more accessible than traditional hardwired pickup swaps. Push-pull pots, wires, cables, springs, and screws are all included, along with a detailed installation and user guide to walk players through the process.

Key Features

Three-Voice Tonal Flexibility Each pickup offers three switchable voices — near-acoustic, single-coil-style, and full humbucker — giving players an expansive range of tones from a single HH set without modifying the guitar's wiring beyond the included hardware.

Fishman Fluence Active Technology Fluence active circuitry eliminates the hum, noise, and tonal inconsistencies associated with traditional wound coil pickups while preserving dynamic response and touch sensitivity — qualities that passive-style players often find missing in conventional active designs.

Alnico V Magnets Alnico V magnets deliver a balanced combination of warmth, clarity, and articulation across the full frequency range, supporting everything from clean, detailed fingerpicking tones to aggressive, harmonically rich high-gain output.

Solderless Installation The solderless connectivity system simplifies the installation process significantly, reducing the technical barrier for players who want to swap pickups without extensive soldering experience or a visit to a guitar tech.

Complete Hardware Package Push-pull pots, wires, cables, springs, screws, and a full installation and user guide are included, providing everything needed for a comprehensive pickup replacement in one box.
