DW Performance Limited Edition Birch Natural Satin Oil Snare Drum
- Pure Birch HVX Shell- Natural Satin Oil- Chrome Hardware- No Re-rings
Size:- 6.5x14
Info:The Performance Series is handcrafted in the California Custom Shop. These custom-quality drums are now available with 100% Birch shells for a limited time. Birch is a favorite among studio drummers and engineers, striking the perfect balance between crisp articulation and warm tone. Suitable for many styles of music, Birch offers a sharp attack, short sustain, and balanced resonance. These Birch shells feature HVX' (horizontal-vertical-diagonal) grain orientation that ensures musical expression and optimum performance. These snare drums offer incredible attack with a quick, controlled sustain. The 10-ply shell and a 60-degree back cut make the 6.5x14" size the go-to choice for versatility. DW's Performance Series drums offer hardware features similar to the Collector's Series: Performance turret lugs, 3mm triple-flanged counter hoops, TruePitch 30 tuning tension rods, DW Mag throw-off, and a 3P Butt plate.
This listing is for the drum only.
