"I'm a big fan of the 1A's because of their length in particular. I naturally choke up a bit on sticks, so the extra length is perfect. Because they aren't too thick, you can easily play to both dynamic extremes." - Ilan Rubin [Nine Inch Nails] "I tried a lot of sticks over the years. Then I found Vater 1A’s and never looked back! They can take a serious beating and give an even bigger beating! The incredible weight balance provides great control and insane power. They feel like an extension of my arm! I like keeping my drums and cymbals low, flat, and far away. The extra length on these sticks allows me to do that comfortably. The acorn tip provides great attack, rebound, and tone. Simply put, Vater has created perfection!” - Jordan Cannata [Adrenaline Mob] "I have been playing the Vater 1A wood tip for over 10 years now and there is absolutely no other stick on the market that does it for me! The 1A's are as durable as they come and the length of the stick had me at hello. If you are searching for the best rock stick on the market, look no further. Vater 1A's are the real deal!" - Tosha Jones
