The connector of the DC extension cable screws down to the DC jack, preventing noise interference when the cable is bumped. There are two voltage options: 12V: used with original 5A Power Supply and newer Five Amp Power. 19V: used with Deluxe Power, Super Power, Case Power Mini and Case Power. Note: If you are replacing a power brick on a Synthrotek power supply, use the same voltage as was originally sent (unless the brick is 15V, then change to it to 19V). AC input: 100-240V, 1.6A, 50-60Hz DC output: 12V at 5A 19V at 4.74A Center positive 2.1mm pin Comes with a 3-prong power cable, which will work in the US and some other countries. If you are in Europe, etc. you can get a separate volex connector that will work in your country. We don't carry international connecting cables, but you can find them easily on the web.
