Martin CEO-11 Overview

The Martin CEO-11 is a limited-edition acoustic-electric designed by Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam, built to reflect both visual artistry and tonal depth. Featuring an M (0000-14 fret) body size, this model offers a broad, balanced voice with strong projection and clarity across the frequency range. The combination of an FSC-certified European spruce top and figured white oak back and sides delivers a unique tonal profile—clear and dynamic with warmth and punch, sitting somewhere between traditional mahogany and maple characteristics.

Visually, the CEO-11 stands apart with its New Horizons blue burst top and dark mahogany-stained body, paired with refined custom details throughout. A flamed maple neck and European flamed maple binding add contrast and elegance, while custom inlays—including the Unalome symbol on the headplate—tie into the instrument’s creative theme. Outfitted with Fishman Aura VT Blend electronics and limited to 1,111 pieces, this model is designed for players who want a distinctive voice both acoustically and plugged in.
