Up for sale is a RARE! RARE!! RARE!!! Steinberger Elite GL7TA (serial number: T8819, it was made in either 1994 or 95 according to the serial no. database from  ), it is over 30 years old but is in excellent condition.  The pickups are EMG-89R, SA and 89 and it sounds great!!!  Thanks to the original Haz Lab circuit custom designed for the GL.  It is worth to mention that most GL7TA come with just a tone control with center detent, you can either boost the bass or the treble but not both at the same time.  This GL7TA however, has a stack up tone pot so the bass and treble could be cut or boost independently. Also each pickup has individual on/off switch, plus the mini-toggle switch for coil tapping both EMG89 pickups, all these features allows you to shape your tone only limited by your imagination.

Few light scratches could be found on the guitar body and fret wear is light, there is slight wear on the EMG logo on the neck humbucker.  I have set up the guitar with 0.010”-0.046” light gauge strings, I have also adjusted the intonation and set the transtrem so it transposes correctly.  Everything works perfectly fine.  The neck is straight like an arrow. The guitar comes with an original Steinberger gigbag and a tremolo arm.

I have only seen a handful of these Steinberger GL7TA appeared in the market, so don’t miss out!
