Tokai SG 2005 Cherry Red

This Tokai SG is in the classic cherry finish and is in primo condition with all original parts.

Note: This is NOT one of the cheap Chinese Tokai-branded guitars flooding the USA market. This guitar was made in Korea in 2005. The quality of wood and components is on par with the Japanese Tokais and, dare I say it, many of the Gibson models from the last 15 years.  This guitar was imported through Canada and was not available for USA sale because it was so close to the real deal.

The pickups are vintage PAF-styled and are crisp and hot. These are the original pickups. Everything on this SG is, in fact, original... knobs, tuners, electronics, bridge.

The bridge is a modern update of the venerable Tune-o-Matic-bridge: The intonation adjustment screws are properly secured to the bridge’s base. On 1960s originals only a flimsy retaining wire keeps the saddles from falling off mid-song, should you break a string.
