PRS Classic Electric 1989 Pearl Black

Up for sale is a 1989 PRS Classic Electric with maple neck and maple fretboard.  This was the first PRS model with a bolt-on neck.  It's a rock machine with serious attitude, equipped with white-sticker Vintage Bass and HFS Treble pickups.  It loves Mark-series Boogies and other amps with high-gain preamps.

For you early PRS aficionados, this guitar does come with one-piece cast Milcom trem and shared-screw D&G PRS Schaller tuners.  It also comes with the cracked pickup selector knob at no extra cost (I dripped a little MEK glue into it 20 years ago and it's been solid ever since).  :-)

This guitar's in great shape for its age, and I've tried to document its condition in the photos.  The neck has a yellow-tinted finish that was applied over the frets and the dot markers.  It's come off some of the dots, leaving some yellow, some the natural shell color.  There is play wear through the finish on the fretboard in places.  The frets are slightly flattened and there's a little grooving on the 1st and 2nd frets. 

There is one chip through the paint on the top edge of the body (pictured), and the tip of the headstock has had a few collisions (also pictured).  The top has a few dimples which I've tried to capture in photos, there's also one on the bottom edge, and there are slight scratches and a tiny bit of worming on the back.
