The DX2E also shares the same slimmer nut width and modified low oval neck profile, making it comfortable and easy to play for musicians of all skill levels. This slimmer nut width allows for quick chord changes and fast, intricate picking, while the satin finish on the neck provides a smooth playing surface that's great for long sets or practice sessions.

Inspired by Billy's prewar D28 and constructed with Brazilian rosewoodpatterned highpressure laminate (HPL) back and sides, the DX2E delivers a big, resonant sound while offering the durability needed for frequent travel or stage use. The solid spruce top provides a responsive, punchy tone with plenty of volume and sustain.
