Zildjian A Custom EFX 16" Crash Cymbal – Bright, Fast, and Uniquely Trashy Effects Cymbal

The Zildjian A Custom EFX 16" cymbal delivers a distinctive sound that sets it apart from traditional crash cymbals. Built with the signature brilliant finish and modern rotary hammering that defines the A Custom line, this effects cymbal features laser-cut perforations throughout its paper-thin construction. The result is a cymbal with exceptional brightness, fast decay, and a characteristically trashy tone that cuts through any mix.

Whether you're layering textures in the studio or adding dynamic accents to your live performance, the EFX brings versatility and sonic personality to your setup. The A Custom series has long been a studio favorite, prized for its smooth, glassy response and generous give when struck. The EFX model takes these qualities further with its unique perforated design, creating a cymbal that excels at producing short, punchy articulations and atmospheric effects. The combination of fine symmetrical grooves and optimized weight distribution ensures consistent performance across the playing surface.
