This is a custom-order Stratocaster from 1986.
The fingerboard is scalloped, and an "ORDER-MADE" stamp is visible on the neck.
This isn’t Yngwie Malmsteen’s signature model, as the earliest one was released in 1988. The original owner wanted a guitar like Yngwie’s before Fender officially offered it.
Additionally, in 1986, the ST62-65 model in Rebel Yellow wasn’t even available(not offered in the catalog).
Therefore, both the neck and body are custom orders. I’m not sure how the custom-order process worked back then, but this guitar is undoubtedly unique and entirely custom-made.
Rebel Yellow: The rarest color of '80s Stratocasters. Very few of these exist. Currently, this is the only ST62-65 in Rebel Yellow from the 1980s available for sale worldwide.
It comes with a high-quality hardshell case made in Korea. One side of the small pocket inside the case is no longer connected, but this does not cause any issues and could likely be repaired. A picture has been included to show the issue.
