One of the finest guitars Barry Grzebik at Grez has built for us to date. We were the first U.S. dealers of these spectator instruments and It’s been fun to see the Mendocino model grow into such a loved “modern day classic“
The P-90’s in this guitar sound smooth and clear. Of course they can get “raunchy“ like any great P-90 when driven; however they retain note clarity.
A red stained top and bound body pull this beauty together, for a classy yet understate aesthetic.
***During transit from California, the guitar sustained a minor scratch on the back, likely caused by a wood chip that inadvertently entered the case prior to shipping (see photos for details).
The imperfection is purely cosmetic and subtle, visible only under certain lighting conditions. As a result, we have reduced the price of this new guitar by $200, bringing it down from the standard retail price of $3,695 to $3495.
