Across a kaleidoscopic array of neon hues, head-turning audiovisual aesthetics, and an undeniably distinctive sound, MonoNeon has catapulted from the cult following of his virtual presence to a worldwide stage that is finally ready for his ahead-of-the-times multidimensional musical madness — the very same that got him hired by Prince. Now, in collaboration with DigiTech, MonoNeon’s signature Whammy 5 pitch-shifting pedal distills his dynamic playing into a no-holds-barred expressive tool tone chasers are enthralled to report has far more under the hood than a fresh coat of paint or a green LED. Not only has the Detune system been completely overhauled, but this MonoNeon signature pedal introduces a slew of pitch-bending pyrotechnics that span a 3-octave range, methodically optimized for use with electric guitars and basses. With bona fide Whammy heritage reshaped in the upside-down forge of MonoNeon’s bass-crafting wizardry, the DigiTech Whammy 5 MonoNeon signature pedal is a pitch-shifting paradise of imaginative, expressive wonder. Just whip out the included customization kit, and you’re ready to own your tone.

Hypersonic mode and more

If you’ve heard MonoNeon play or seen his electrifying performances, then you know just how exotic, exploratory, and adventurous his music is, primarily due to his left-handed playing of a right-handed bass, inverted string order and all. This revamped take on DigiTech’s Whammy 5 boasts voltaic versatility that befits the virtuosic stylings of MonoNeon’s boundary-pushing bass playing. Octave and Dry modes now traverse a 3-octave spread, in addition to replacing the standard Whammy 5’s Shallow and Deep configurations with Detune and Hypersonic options — the latter of which sends your signal up three full octaves!

Customize your kit

Considering how much the spirit of improvisation lives at the heart of MonoNeon’s explosive repertoire, it’s only fitting that DigiTech included a dedicated customization kit. Resembling the colors of MonoNeon’s lauded bass, mask, and signature headstock sock, this kit includes two rolls of eye-catching gaffer tape and a marker to personalize your pedal presentation — or anything else in need of some neon flare! Did we mention you’ll get several stickers, too?
