No battery corrosion. Radio works, FM switches between stereo and mono, volume control works. Tuning brings in a surprising quantity and quality of stations.
5-band equalizer works great.
Tapes are not playing. Head is good and amp turns on. Motor spins and pinch roller moves as it should. Probably a bad belt, as neither reel spins. Play direction button seems to be stuck in one position. FF and cue modes move the head appropriately and motor spins, but still no motion of reels.
Some scratches to silver and black on front.
