Very cool 1971/1972 Cherry Gibson EB-3 with Slotted Headstock in Very Good Condition!
Another very cool & quite rare find has just landed with us in store. This thunderous beast is a lovely '71-'72 Gibson EB-3 with a Slotted Headstock. This is a truly gorgeous little bass weighing in at a comfortable 8.89lb. This EB-3 dates between 1971 & 1972 and has been well-loved, some parts have been replaced including the Bridge, Truss Rod Cover, Strap Buttons, & the nut (Unfortunately the original parts are not included). We also believe that the electronics at some point in its history may have been altered, however, they have since been reverted to stock, with all original components & pickups! It is also worth noting that this bass has signs of being oversprayed. So this is a well-loved bass, but it is a stunner! It plays beautifully, sounds amazing, & would be a great addition to anyone's collection or gigging arsenal!
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool '71-'72 Gibson EB-3 has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
