Siemens/ Schoeps CM64 cardioid tube microphone

this one was made by Schoeps for Siemens (check the T logo on the back)

The schoeps cm 060 preamplifier was introduced in 1960, after the M 221.

It's based around an EF94 tube and a nickel capsule. Physically, bigger diameter than a 221, it has a bigger output transformer.

This has the more desirable full range cardioid capsule (some had a speech capsule with bass roll off: cm 640)

it's the also more desirable, 200 ohms, blue dot version (red dot stands for 50 ohms) which gives an additional +6db at output.

Comes with a new power supply I got a month ago from Andreas Stenzel, specialist of German vintage microphones.

My guess is that cable is a Belden one, with it's shiny grey finish.

My has not been serviced, it just sounded great right off the bat.
