Build Big Sounds Fast

The GX-10 lets you create your sound quickly with its intuitive color touchscreen and four dynamic parameter knobs. Assign up to two amps and 15 effects to each memory. Create serial or parallel effect routings, and change the order by dragging blocks with a finger on the screen. And connect your favorite external pedals with the send/return loop. BOSS Tone Studio takes it a step further by letting you edit sounds and load impulse responses (IRs) from your computer or tweak sounds wirelessly using our optional Bluetooth adapter and mobile app.

Flexible Real-Time Control

With intelligent control options in a minimal layout, the GX-10 gives you powerful tools to tweak your sound in real time as you play. Versatile control modes provide maximum flexibility with just three footswitches. The expression pedal toggles between volume and wah, and engages the tuner when you pull it back. But you can customize it to control almost anything you want with the GX-10’s assignment matrix.

Up/Down Mode: Simplify your rig by stepping through memories one at a time. Set up basic memories for cleans, crunchy rhythms, and lead sounds. You can also load all 66 banks and 198 user memories with custom sounds for your setlist and cycle through them sequentially on stage.

Manual Mode: Remaps the footswitches to control three user-assignable targets. Use them like a footswitch to toggle effects on and off or boost your solo. Or go even further by changing up to 20 assignable parameters with a single press.

Bank/Number Mode: Selects memories within banks. It also unlocks the Current Number function, which allows you to access one or more parameters by pressing the footswitch of the currently loaded memory. With this function, you can expand your tonal options for each memory with a solo boost effect, an echo effect, or any other effect you want to assign.

Organize and Save

In addition to editing, BOSS Tone Studio lets you organize GX-10 sounds into Livesets for different gigs and playing situations. You can also access BOSS Tone Exchange within the app to download professionally created sounds and share GX-10 Livesets with the global BOSS community. These are also fully compatible with the GX-100. Plus, a built-in USB-C audio interface lets you capture high-quality guitar tones into music production apps on computers and mobile devices.
