The 1958 Korina Explorer™, made in collaboration with the Gibson™ Custom Shop, is Epiphone’s stunning recreation of one of the most famous and valuable vintage guitars ever made. This guitar offers authentic 1958 Explorer details at an unprecedented price. Just like the extremely rare original Gibson models from 1958, it features a solid Korina (limba) body and neck with a long neck tenon and a 1958 Explorer neck profile. It is also equipped with an Indian Laurel fretboard and gold hardware. The electronics are top-tier, featuring Gibson Burstbucker™ 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups connected to individual volume controls and a master tone control with CTS® pots and a Mallory™ capacitor, along with a Switchcraft® 3-way toggle switch and 1/4" jack output. The back of the headstock proudly displays the Epiphone x Gibson Custom logo and the guitar comes with a hard case.
